  • Enable [username]
  • Enable Hard disks
  • Disable Recent Tags

  • Enable Show all filename extensions
  • Enable Remove items from Trash after 30 days
  • Enable Keep folders on top → In windows when sorting by name
  • Enable Keep folders on top → On Desktop

• Using terminal

  # show hidden files
  defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles true
  
  # show path bar
